“The International Water Association (IWA) Tastes, Odors, and Algal Toxins in Drinking Water Resources and Aquaculture Specialist Group” and “University of New South Wales (UNSW) Water Research Centre” are pleased to announce that the “11th IWA Symposium on Tastes, Odors and Algal Toxins in Water: Occurrence and Control (
#iwatando2017)” will be held at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, from Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th February 2017. We invite the water, algal, and T&O experts across the world to join us in Sydney for this symposium.
The 11th Symposium is planned within the successful chain of events organised by the IWA Specialist Group including the “2015 International Workshop on Occurrence and Control of Tastes, Odours, and Algal Toxins in Water, Xiamen, China, 2015”, “10th IWA Symposium on Off-Flavours in the Aquatic Environment, Tainan, Taiwan, 2013”, Aberdeen (UK, 2011), Deajeon (Korea – 2008), Cornwall (Canada – 2005), Barcelona (Spain – 2002). The symposium is the most reputable specialist event in the field of taste, odour and algal toxins in water. The symposium program includes plenary and poster presentation and workshop sessions focusing on recent innovations in the field. The 11th Symposium also includes "Young Water Professional Best Paper/Poster Award".
Participants will have the opportunity to connect with leading professionals in the field of (a) taste and odours, (b) algae, and (c) algal toxins in water. They could benefit from this gathering of top experts in the field to discuss their related water challenges and learn about the latest innovative solutions.
